I’ve been thinking about this for a while…

The Trust Your Taste community is growing. Which is really exciting! Especially with the upcoming release of I’ll Have What Cheese Having. 

I have had many requests for more ways to interact with Trust Your Taste and Substack is a platform that helps build and connect community a bit better. Also- we’ve had a problem recently with some of these e-mails going to spam folders, and this will hopefully help with that.

So what does this mean for you?

Mostly- nothing! You don’t have to do a thing. The e-mails will look a little different, but the content will be the same. You will still receive a bi-weekly e-mail with lots of cheese and lots of storytelling.

Substack also has an app, and since most of you read this on your phone, it’s a convenient way to have all your favorite newsletters in one place. If this means nothing to you (hi mom and dad) don’t worry about it. You’ll still get the e-mails and you don’t have to worry about trying to figure out another app.

There will be a paid option for additional writings, audio notes, behind-the-scenes info on the book, and special event discounts.

Again, the bi-weekly e-mail you know and love will still be free. I am not tricking you into paying for something you’ve been getting for free for a year and a half.

Substack makes it really easy to continue to provide free content to you all, while creating space for those who would like more to support me.

The extra content will be $5 a month. Nothing crazy, it’s less than the cost of a latte, but for independent creators like me, that really adds up.

If you are interested in additional content, I’d love to hear what you would like to see! Right now what I’m most excited about are audio note/podcast/audio book possibilities.

It will take a second to transfer all the former installments of the newsletter over there, but it will happen!
